As a production employee at Calbe Chemie GmbH, you are responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture of chemical products.

Your primary duties will include:

• Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery to manufacture chemical products according to specified production schedules and quality standards.
• Eliminate production line malfunctions and problems and report technical defects to supervisors or technicians.
• Perform filling, packaging and labeling of finished products.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and work rules to minimize accidents and health risks.
• Documenting production data and adhering to protocols and reporting to supervisors.
• Participate in training and education to improve understanding of safety, quality and production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the workplace, including disposal of waste in accordance with regulations.
• Environmental compliance and responsibility to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as the laboratory, logistics, and quality management, to ensure that production runs smoothly.
• Comply with safety and health regulations and participate in safety training and activities.
• Willingness to work shifts and occasional overtime to meet production requirements.

Your requirement profile:

• Completed vocational training as a chemical technician, chemical laboratory technician or a comparable qualification in a chemical field is an advantage. However, we are also open to motivated career changers with an enthusiasm for the chemical industry.
• Experience in manufacturing or related chemical industry field desirable.
• Skill in the use of production equipment, machinery and instrumentation.
• Ability to understand and accurately implement complex instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to collaborate with other departments.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing demands and work schedules.
• Sense of responsibility and a high level of safety awareness.
• Good communication skills to effectively relay and receive information.
• Willingness to participate in training and education to enhance own knowledge and skills.
• Work carefully and precisely to ensure production quality.
• Physical ability to work under pressure as work may occasionally be physically demanding.
